November 29, 2006 - Awake Update. The Anesthesia Awareness website has posted that previous information about a February 8, 2007 release date for Awake turned out to be a false alarm. As of today, no release date was able to be obtained from the Weinstein Company. We'll just have to stay tuned. Source
November 29, 2006 - Is Harvey Weinstein cutting it close with Factory Girl? With a first award screening only days away, will Factory Girl be finished and edited in time? Concerns over whether the film can be ready for awards consideration is not yet a problem according to Jeffrey Wells of Hollywood Elsewhere.

November 27, 2006 - Factory Girl - The first of many Factory Girl award screenings has been scheduled by the Weinstein Company for December 6, 2006 at 7:30 pm. in the Wilshire Screening Room. Subsequent screenings have been sheduled throughout the month of December until January 3, 2007. Film screenings are limited to members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as well as select members of the media. Schedules are subject to change. Source

After NY Post's Page Six gossip blurb, Hollywood Elsewhere's Jeffrey Wells defended Factory Girl as a movie going through the usual post production routine saying it's not a big deal. He also said to look for early screenings at the beginning of December and possibly earlier.
October 31, 2006-The Factory Girl webpage has finally been added to The Weinstein Co. website with a trailer coming soon. Today, NY Post's Page Six mentioned the missing information on the Weinstein website, speculating the movie had been shelved and adding an unidentified source who said there was "just to much wrong with it".
October 31, 2006-In Factory Girl news, Myriad's website has updated to include information about the December release of Factory Girl in time for Oscar consideration. It also states that a wide release is set for spring 2007.
October 30, 2006-Diane Lane is rumored to have joined the cast of Jumper, playing the role of Davy's mother. The movie is scheduled to film in and around Toronto and wrap filming there sometime at the end of November.

October 14, 2006-Rachel Bilson (The OC) is reported by Daily Variety to be joining the cast of Twentieth Century Fox and Regency Enterprises's film production of Jumper based on the Steven Gould novel. Rachel replaces Teresa Palmer in the role of Millie and joins Hayden Christensen, Samuel L. Jackson and Jamie Bell. Principal filming began in September in Toronto with other locations scheduled in New York City, Rome and Tokyo.
