December 31, 2009 - Happy New Year 2010 - I wish you all the best in 2010. Looking forward to Hayden's three movies coming to the big screen and one to IMAX. Quantum Quest, Takers and Vanishing on Seventh Street and many of us will finally get to see New York, I Love You on dvd in February. December 28, 2009 - Takers taking theaters May 14 - That's the new tagline on the Official Takers website. And Happy New Year from Sony and Screen Gems! The site has been updated with plenty of downloads from the trailer to movie wallpapers of the Takers crew, to decorating your Twitter background with a pic of Hayden or Taker of your choice. There are instructions and suggestions on how to mix and match your Twitter layout colors too. And don't forget to check out the photo gallery.

December 22, 2009 - Takers New Release Date - The Takers Official Facebook page confirms various news that the movie has been moved from it's previous February 26, 2010 release date to May 14, 2010. Several movie sites are now updated with the new date which places Takers just before the Memorial Day weekend and summer vacation movie season. The popular cast might prove hard to resist when it comes to theaters in May 2010. Takers stars, Matt Dillon, Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, Zoe Saldana, Michael Ealy, Idris Elba, Johnathon Schaech, Jay Hernandez, T.I., and Chris Brown.

December 15, 2009 - First Release Date for Vanishing on 7th Street - According to Vanishing on Seventh [7th] Street actor Jacob Latimore's bio on MySpace, the Hayden Christensen film is scheduled for release in August 2010. We'll have to see if the date holds. Since the film just finished shooting, the release date could change but it's definitely something to look forward to in 2010. Jacob Latimore - MySpace

December 14, 2009 - Jumper Gets Big Ratings in Germany - Movie fans in Germany gave Jumper high ratings when it made it's television premiere on ProSieben TV on Sunday night. Jumper's 22.7 percent market share among 14 - to 49-year-olds garnered ProSieben the top spot in prime-time among Sunday night's viewers. Jumper, starring Hayden Christensen, along with Uma Thurman's "Kill Bill Vol 2" which scored 20.7 percent market share in the same target group gave ProSieben a double blockbuster night in the ratings. December 13, 2009 - Takers Worldwide Release Dates - You can start marking your calendars now as Takers goes international in a big way. Whether you are from the North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East/Africa, or the Asia/Pacific region of the world, there's a good chance you'll get to see Hayden in Takers when it is released in 2010.

December 10, 2009 - New York, I Love You on DVD - As you can see, there's lots of NYILY news. Real life had me away from my computer for a few days so I'm catching up on the latest. According to MSN Movies and Moviefone If you didn't get a chance to see NYILY in a theater than it will soon be available on DVD and Blu-ray including a Special Edition 3 Disc DVD. Look for it February 2, 2010.

As mentioned in an earlier post, New York, I Love You will also be out in Japan in February 2010. Here is an early poster from Japan for NYILY:

I know that New York, I Love You has only shown in a limited number of theaters and a lot of fans haven't seen the movie. It didn't come to any city in my my state. December 10, 2009 - Advanced Tickets for New York, I Love You Japan - Earlier this month movie goers in Japan had a chance to buy their tickets to see Hayden, Rachel and Andy Garcia in New York, I Love You when it comes out in February 2010 at the Toho Cinema, Shinemashante. One movie goer posted her story about getting tickets and the tickets and cover are so beautiful I had to post the picture. I wish theater tickets in the US looked like this. Source

December 10, 2009 - Star Wars Celebration V - Tickets go on sale today for Star Wars Celebration V. The announced event will take place in Orlando Florida from August 12-15, 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center. It's too early for a list of guests for the event but, according to StarWars.com, guests could include cast and crew members from the Classic Trilogy, Prequel Trilogy, Clone Wars TV Series, and the Expanded Universe.

Another event to look forward too in 2010 is "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination" which opens June 25, 2010 at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Ticket information will be available at www.spacecamp.com. The exhibit runs from 6-25-2010 through 9-6-2010. Check out the June-2009 Archive for more information.

The 501st Legion, an international fan-based organization dedicated to the construction and wearing of screen-accurate replicas of various characters from the Star Wars movies, has been enlisted to help support the Space Center's efforts to promote the exhibit and will also be in attendance at Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando.

December 1, 2009 - Vanishing on 7th Street Scene - Pypes Performance Exhaust of Detroit helped dress this scene of the film, which takes place on deserted highway I-75, by providing one of its rigs set among dozens of other autos on the roadway. You can see Taylor and Jacob riding a horse through the lonely scene which was shot in the early morning hours just before dawn. More pictures at Pypes Performance - Facebook
