January 26, 2011 - Takers Tops All Home Video Charts in it's Opening Week on DVD - Takers starring Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen, Michael Ealy, T.I. and Chris Brown has taken over the top spot in all three major home entertainment sales and rental charts for the week ending Jan. 23.

"Sony Pictures Home Entertainment dominated the national home video sales and rental charts the week ended Jan. 23, as the crime thriller Takers gave the studio its second triple-play victory in as many weeks."
Takers, which stars Matt Dillon, Chris Brown and Hayden Christensen and generated $57.7 million in U.S. theaters, displaced The Social Network, also from Sony, in the No. 1 spot on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert and Blu-ray Disc sales charts as well as Home Media Magazine's rental chart. The Social Network, buoyed by its eight Oscar nominations, including a nom for best picture, slipped to No. 2 on all three charts its sophomore week in stores."

January 22, 2011 - Update on The Cold - One of Hayden's upcoming projects, The Cold, is now listed as in "Development" with the status showing "Script" according to IMDb who updated the info on January 17, 2011. The movie had previously been listed as in pre-production with filming to begin winter 2011.
January 20, 2011 - Hayden Christensen on the Red Carpet at Berlin Fashion Week - Hayden attended the Hugo Boss Show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin today. Hayden walked the red carpet before the big event and was interviewed briefly and took pictures with Chloe Sevigny and Tilda Swinton. The fashion show featured the Hugo Boss Fall 2011 Collection.

The movie will be available On-Demand, Amazon.com, Xbox, Playstation, Vudu and iTunes on Friday January 7, 2011. I'm really happy to see it in so many different venues. We don't get many limited release films where I live so this is a great for the fans. Vanishing on 7th Street will be in theaters February 18 in select cities. Via Facebook

January 3, 2011 - Location Scouting for The Cold - Hayden is listed on IMDb in the cast for this thriller which is to start filming this winter. The story centers around a group of friends heading into the wilderness for their annual hunting trip only to confront their war torn past and a devilish secret. (Hayden Christensen plays Sean Kotz.)
It looks as if the producers are looking at possible locations in Utah and had a temporarily public Facebook page chronicling the pre-production. From the pictures, it looks like cast and crew will be roughing it but maybe not all the time. Be careful though, there be bears around. (...but I thought it was supposed to be a Wendigo.)
