June 24, 2013 - Jordana Brewster posting from the set of American Heist in New Orleans - Jordana Brewster has started tweeting from the set of American Heist and posted a photo of a crew chair with the official movie logo. Find the picture below. The movie is about two brothers just out of prison who are pulled into one last heist by an experienced crew of bank robbers. Hayden is being joined in New Orleans by Jordana and Adrien Brody. If you look at the previous behind the scenes photo from New Orleans, it looks like Hayden's hair is darker for the movie and I'm assuming Adrien will play his brother. Principal photography started Monday. Check out my Twitter where I'll be retweeting any news about the movie or sightings related to Hayden.
June 24, 2013 - Hayden Christensen, Adrien Brody, Jordana Brewster and Akon come together for indie drama American Heist in New Orleans - Filming began June 24th for American heist and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Jordana Brewster and Adrien Brody have officially joined the production in New Orleans. Adrien Brody and Hayden Christensen (Glacier Films) are also reported to be executive producers for the project along with Joseph Nasser and Jack Nasser of Nasser Entertainment Group and Jojo Ryder. June 17, 2013 - Hayden Christensen and Adrien Brody script reading in New Orleans for American Heist - Thanks to director Sarik Andreasyan we have a look at pre-production going on in New Orleans for American Heist. Hayden and Adrien will play brothers in the bank robbery film which will start filming soon in New Orleans. According to Film New Orleans the schedule has moved first day of filming to June 24th from June 18th. We all wish the cast and the crew of American Heist good luck.
June 10, 2013 - Hayden Christensen and Adrien Brody will be brothers in American Heist - Russian movie news and database site Kinopoisk is among other entertainment news sites reporting today that Adrien Brody will join Hayden, Jordana Brewster and Akon shortly in New Orleans to begin filming American Heist on June 18 until the end of July. A release date has not been determined.

American Heist, about the St. Louis Bank Robbery of 1953, tells the story of two brothers involved in a life of crime. The older brother played by Adrien Brody has already involved his younger brother played by Hayden in a past crime for which they both spent time in prison. As Hayden's character has just been released from prison and can not find work, his brother, also out of jail, tries to pull him in for another heist.
Meanwhile, it was announced last week that Jordana Brewster will also co-star in the film but it was not known what her role would be until now. She will play Hayden's ex-girlfriend. They have a past relationship and now that Hayden's character is out of jail, he wants to start again. She works for the police. There is not exactly a romance between them but she sympathizes with Hayden's character.

June 6, 2013 - Casting for Hayden Christensen's American Heist - Russian entertainment news is reporting that Jordana Brewster has been cast in American Heist. There is no word yet on the role she will be playing. The Fast and Furious actress recently finished filming North of Hell in New Orleans and according to the articles will be heading back soon as filming for American Heist begins June 18th. June 6, 2013 - Hayden Christensen in New Orleans for filming of American Heist - Preparations are now underway in New Orleans for Hayden's next movie American Heist. Director Sarik Andreasyan has posted tidbits about production with schedules for Hayden's costume fittings and casting meetings for this week. Hayden will also begin physical training while in New Orleans according to fitness trainer Aaron Williamson who posted that Hayden is a new client. Principal photography for American Heist begins June 18th for 26 days in NOLA.
